LinkedIn is the undisputed king of long-form AI slop, according to a study spanning five platforms
A Pangram analysis reveals that 41% of long-form posts on LinkedIn are likely AI-generated, the highest rate among five analyzed platforms.

- 41% of LinkedIn long-form posts are flagged as AI-generated.
- LinkedIn accounts for two-thirds of all detected AI content in the study.
- One in four long-form posts across five platforms is entirely AI-written.
Pangram analyzed long-form content across five social media platforms to determine the prevalence of AI-generated text. The study found that overall, one in four longer posts is entirely written by AI.
LinkedIn emerged as the primary source of this content, with 41% of its long-form posts flagged as AI-written. Although LinkedIn comprised only one-third of the total dataset, it accounted for nearly two-thirds of all detected AI content.
The detection model used in the study is described as conservative, suggesting that the actual volume of AI-generated material on the platform may be even higher than reported.
